ProtectSeniors.Org served as a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit coalition concentrated on raising nationwide awareness about health care rights for America’s retirees and supporting legislative measures to protect retiree health benefits for an estimated 20 million.


Butler Associates helped ProtectSeniors.Org develop a branding campaign that reached a wide geographic area, without a deep budget.


Among some of its tactics, the Butler Associates team conceptualized a mobile billboard/earned media campaign that could be delivered in a guerilla-like and cost-effective fashion. The result was a 2,000-mile mobile billboard caravan that crossed into seven eastern seaboard states and the District of Columbia with daily press conferences at major stops along the way.


The client’s message was delivered on television and a photo of the mobile billboard went national via the Associated Press wire. In total, over 250 news outlets in markets in California, Colorado, Texas, Kansas, Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington DC and New York explained our client’s message and did so across a very vast national news footprint. The multi-state tour served to amplify a larger campaign and message than the client ever could have afforded, generating a surge of calls and visits to their website.
